Application Support

Oberon IT provides Application Support personnel to ensure the continuing operation of software applications, both off-the-shelf and in-house. Placed staff will apply and test enhancements, fixes and upgrades to applications. Our people are excellent at discovery of, troubleshooting, and fixing software problems. They will assume primary responsibility for problem triage and respond to help-desk tickets as necessary. Regular monitoring of performance, stress and load tests and tuning for increased performance keeps all applications running at maximal efficiency. As in all our staffing services, we encourage our consultants to keep abreast and trained in advances in their specific field.

Technical Writing

Our goal of providing a quality product includes educating the user about the new application. Our talented technical writers compose training documentation and build the presentation. Training can include online help, frequently asked questions, and online tutorials, which can be presented within the application or as subsequent information. This comprehensive approach ensures all aspects of the training are captured.

Training

We provide application-specific training at your site or our Solution Center in Irving, Texas. We offer two types of training: familiarization and third-party application training. Familiarization training is given to new employees or new users of a particular application. We use a computer-based training approach to train new users effectively and efficiently on very short notice. Third-party application training is generally provided by one of our training partners.
